An exciting partnership between the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Neighborhood Networks Initiative and the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has been created to provide workforce development opportunities and resources to underserved communities.
As a result of the partnership, the Neighborhood Networks Online Career Coach has been created to guide Neighborhood Networks stakeholders through various workforce development resources, including the Department of Labor's Career Tools.
The Neighborhood Networks Career Coach is an information service provided by the CareerOneStop Service Center operated by the State of Minnesota under a grant from the US Department of Labor.
The Neighborhood Networks Career Coach is one of eight customized OnLine Coaches serving job seekers, business, workforce staff, BRAC affected communities, laid-off workers, military spouses, community college students, and HUD/Neighborhood Networks.
